In response to the developing COVID-19 situation, the Sixth Floor has implemented new working arrangements to meet Australian and New South Wales Government guidelines and orders and support the wellbeing of our employees and clients and the broader community. These arrangements will continue for as long as is necessary to meet those objectives.
For the time being, the majority of our barristers will be working remotely while they continue to advise and represent their clients. This includes appearing before courts and tribunals by video or telephone as required. All barristers can continue to be contacted on their chambers’ telephone numbers and email addresses (which appear on this site), including to arrange telephone or video conferences or deliveries of electronic or hard copy briefs to them.
During this period, there will be restricted access arrangements to our chambers. Please contact our clerk to arrange for delivery of briefs to chambers.
We recognise the importance of ensuring that the work of the courts and tribunals continues to the extent possible during this time, and are committed to helping to ensure that occurs in a fair and efficient way.
