Mitchell has a broad practice in commercial and public law disputes, with specific experience in class actions, contract and equity. He welcomes briefs in all areas of law.
Prior to being called to the Bar, Mitchell was tipstaff to the Honourable Justice Hallen in the Equity Division of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, and a solicitor in the commercial litigation team at Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer.
Mitchell holds a Bachelor of Civil Law (Distinction) from the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) from the University of Adelaide. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Corporate Finance) from the University of Adelaide where he placed first in his cohort.
