SENIOR COUNSEL

Aleksandra was admitted to practice in 2014 and called to the Bar in 2020. She advises and appears in a wide range of commercial matters with a focus on financial services, class actions and corporations, consumer and contract disputes. She has appeared led and unled in the Federal Court of Australia, NSW Supreme Court, District Court and Local Court.

Prior to being called to the Bar, Aleksandra was a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution group at King & Wood Mallesons. In her eight years at KWM, she acted on complex and smaller-scale corporate and commercial disputes, class actions, regulatory investigations, commissions and inquiries. She has considerable understanding of the financial services industry, having advised both Westpac and Commonwealth Bank on regulatory, litigation and class action matters in senior in-house roles.

Aleksandra graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours and University Medal) and Bachelor of Arts (History, Politics and Philosophy) with Distinction from the University of Western Sydney and holds a Master of Laws (Distinction) from University Sydney. She is the 2017 winner of Lawyers Weekly 30 under 30 Awards for Dispute Resolution and the 2019 recipient of the Katrina Dawson Award.
